Before you start

Your gateway must be connected to the internet and have loaded the Doorzign start page (/welcome) before you register. Otherwise the registration reports that the gateway is not yet connected to the DoorZign server. How to connect the gateway is described in Activate gateway.

You also need the LAN MAC address of your gateway (Qbic BXP-100). You can find it in your order or on the device:

Create an account

1. Open doorzign.zeitwart.de.

2. Below the login, click the button to create a DoorZign user account.

Fill in the form:

• First name, last name and email are required.

• Username: identifies you on the server; your licences are assigned to this account. Allowed are lowercase letters, digits and the characters - _ . |, at least 4 characters. The username must be unique.

• MAC address: the LAN MAC address of your gateway (BXP-100). Note: it differs from the Wi-Fi MAC address. It doesn’t matter whether you enter it with or without colons or hyphens.

• Confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions and click the register button.

If an error message appears, you will find the solution in Error messages during registration and activation.

Activate your account

After registering you are asked to check your emails to complete the registration.

1. Open the welcome email from Doorzign.

2. Click the button to activate your account. The link is valid for 48 hours.

3. Set your password.

Setting the password activates your account and your gateway. Afterwards you log in with your email or username and password and can activate the E-Paper displays.

If your email address is already registered, you will receive an email to reset your password instead of the activation email.
